Job Description
We are looking to hire a business analyst to support banking connectivity, payment process transitions, operational optimization, and strategic technology initiatives. This role will include the following responsibilities:
Engaging with internal clients and counterparty banks to establish SWIFT platforms connectivity
Managing issue escalations and coordinating with banking partners to resolve connectivity and fee-related concerns
Facilitating knowledge transfer and training sessions for seamless handover to Global Payment Services (GPS) Operations
Collaborating with business process owners and experts to map and validate processes in across relevant payment platforms ensuring alignment with client expectations
Documenting and aligning legacy payment processes with GPS standards
Collaborating with technology teams to define operational needs for new payment platforms
Participating in user acceptance testing (UAT), rollout planning and various system improvement initiatives
Ensuring all deliverables and client queries are met as stipulated in the SLAs
Ensure all processes are performed in accordance with operational procedures and controls and all relevant checklists are completed.
Participate in special projects including system upgrades, BCP planning & testing
Any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
Experience of working as a Business Analyst in financial services is important.
Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly an asset.
Experience with Process Mapping is a an advantage.
Basic understanding of fund administration industry would be beneficial.
