Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Social Media Manager to lead and scale our social media efforts. In this role, you will drive social media strategy, execution, and performance across multiple platforms and regions, ensuring cultural relevance while maintaining brand consistency. You will collaborate closely with regional teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners to elevate brand engagement, community growth, and content innovation in high-potential markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive social media strategies for EC Markets’ global brand, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals while accommodating the unique needs, behaviours, and preferences of each local market.
Act as a central liaison for regional marketing teams across multiple countries—each with their own social channels, approaches, and requirements—ensuring consistent brand identity while supporting local differentiation.
Provide regional teams with scalable toolkits, best practices, content calendars, and ongoing training to empower effective local execution and brand consistency.
Partner with creative, content, and localization teams to produce platform-appropriate, culturally relevant content for Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other key platforms.
Monitor performance metrics across EC markets, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve reach, engagement.
Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging platforms, and regional user behaviors; apply learnings to inform strategy and innovation.
Collaborate with internal designers, video editors, and content creators to develop visually compelling and high-performing multimedia content.
Work with the communications team to conceptualize and launch engaging social campaigns that amplify brand presence and support key initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in social media management, with a focus on international or multi-market campaigns.
Proven success managing social media in emerging and culturally diverse markets (e.g., Latin America, MENA, Southeast Asia).
Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and global social media.
Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and external agencies.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in social analytics tools.
