Job Description

Pafilia is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Project Manager and will be assigned Quantity Surveying related tasks. Measuring, preparing and monitoring the bill of quantities for new and ongoing progress of Pafilia Development Projects. Approval of valuations for subcontracting works and payments.

Location: Limassol or Paphos

Main Responsibilities:

  • Measurements and preparations of bills of quantities and estimates for parts or the whole of construction works in relation to the company’s building construction development projects.
  • Measurements of site construction activities.
  • Preparation of monthly valuations, liaison with contractors and sub-contractors on works executed.
  • Preparation of Actual vs Budget reports during project execution
  • Preparation of Final Accounts regarding final total cost to initial budgets
  • Assist the Construction Team in regards to project QS issues.
  • Support of the project execution team in regards to any quantity surveying issues.
  • Assist the tendering procedures with subcontractors and preparation of the relevant contracts.
  • Handle any other relevant to QS duties and responsibilities relevant to the project as assigned by the Project Manager.

Necessary requirements:

  • University degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil engineering
  • Experience of at least 7-10 years as a site and/or office QS. Experience on high-end residential buildings projects will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to measure, review and handle complex specifications and quantities regarding architectural, structural and MEP drawings, material specifications and construction works.
  • Good planning, organizational, leading and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent public relations, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in both Greek and English languages both written and oral
  • Must be analytical and have attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver successfully under pressure
  • Excellent Computer Skills, MS Office, Internet, Outlook Express, AutoCAD or other civil engineering software
