The Role
This role is for a fixed 7-month contract and will primarily be involved with supporting the group licensed entities with the delivery of the compliance monitoring plan and activities related to the broader regulatory compliance framework. The role will also assist with AML/CTF and involvement in relevant projects.
As our Compliance Analyst, your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Review and maintain the CMP compliance monitoring plan.
Investigate alerts generated by the monitoring system and escalate cases as appropriate.
Maintain the company AML/CTF policies, procedures, and controls in line with CySEC and EU regulations.
Perform ongoing AML/CTF checks and monitoring to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligation.
Oversee the CDD and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes for clients and counterparties.
Act as a second-line escalation point for Know Your Customer (KYC) process during onboarding.
Conduct periodic reviews and regular assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. These reviews aim to identify and mitigate risks, enhance operational effectiveness, and ensure that the firm adheres to the standards set by CySEC.
Oversee Personal Account (PA) Dealing policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including pre-approval of trades, ongoing monitoring, and enforcement of restrictions when required.
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Manage and maintain records in accordance with the regulatory and company standards.
Propose and implement improvements to the compliance and/or other related processes to minimize risks.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the direct manager and/or senior management.
About you
2-3 years of experience in a compliance role within a CySEC-regulated firm, in financial services or trading.
Must have CySEC AML and Advanced certificates.
Extensive knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Prior experience with submitting reports to CySEC TRS and Portal is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.
Excellent English and Greek written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and anomalies in financial data.
