We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven sales person to join our team and help us drive our sales efforts to new heights.
As a Freight Forwarding Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, managing client relationships and overseeing the sales strategy. You’ll lead an experienced and well-established team, collaborate with cross-functional departments and use your industry expertise to identify new opportunities and ensure our customers receive top-tier logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Manage and motivate a sales team, providing guidance, training and performance reviews
Identify new business opportunities and keep up to date with market developments
Work closely with international agents, shipping lines, operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation sales, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and documentation (air, ocean, land), customs regulations, port operations and supply chain logistics.
Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team with strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written English and Greek
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
Education: A degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field is essential. Postgraduate degree is preferred.
