We are looking for an experienced and driven Group Manager of Core analytics to lead our core analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and driving the analytics strategy for regional and cross-market operations. You will be responsible for uncovering actionable insights, optimizing performance across multiple markets, and ensuring that data-driven decision-making is at the heart of the organization. Additionally, you will oversee analytics for government relations (GR), ensuring the efficient handling of governmental requests and compliance reporting. You will lead a team of talented analysts, ensuring high-quality data operations, impactful insights generation, and analytics solutions that drive the success of regional, global, and GR-related initiatives.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management:
Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Plan and oversee the team's workflow, prioritizing projects and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of analytical solutions
Strategic Analytics & Insights:
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical frameworks and strategic recommendations
Design and implement dashboards, alerting and forecasting systems
Advanced Data Analytics & Modelling:
Design, build, and improve analytics frameworks for monitoring and forecasting key metrics, ensuring timely detection of anomalies and trends across regional markets.
Conduct in-depth research on funnel performance and retention metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations to optimize user journeys and lifecycle engagement
Develop and enhance self-service analytics tools to empower regional Business Development Managers (BDMs) and support government relations (GR) teams in addressing their data and reporting needs efficiently
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with product and business teams to ensure analytics align with overall strategies
Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the Business Development team
Reporting & Communication:
Present analytical findings to executive leadership, clearly articulating insights, implications, and recommended actions
Develop standardized reporting practices to provide consistent, accurate, and valuable information to stakeholders
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: at least 5 years of experience in data analytics or data science, with 2-3 years in a leadership role
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python/R, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Redash), alerting and forecasting techniques
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong business acumen
Mindset: Problem-solving attitude, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
