Senior Accountant

An established Accounting and Audit firm in Nicosia are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping entries and maintaining proper records of clients’ books
• Reconciliations of various accounts and preparing the books for audit
• Submissions of tax returns
• Payroll preparation and submission of Social Insurance Declarations
• Ensure proper set-up of new clients
• Communication with clients
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff members, including coaching and development.
• Collaboration with Audit Team

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of previous experience in an Accounting Firm or similar position
• Bachelor in Accounting or at least LCCI Higher Certificate
• Knowledge of Cyprus VAT legislation
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Excellent command of English and Greek language
• Any other language will be considered an advantage
• Organizational and communication skills
