As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join our team and play a crucial role in the development of an in-house retail trading platform. You will be responsible for translating business needs into detailed technical requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring that our product meets market demands.
Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements for the development of the retail trading platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and technical architects, to ensure clear understanding and communication of requirements
Analyze and define the key features of the platform, including trading/pricing flows, margin calculation, group/accounts management etc. as well as performance metrics, and other non-functional requirements
Analyze key admin UI features, such as monitoring tools for trades, positions, risk management, and client management functionalities
Create and maintain documentation on platform features, processes, and workflows
Work with the development team to prioritize tasks and ensure requirements are implemented as specified
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, including margin call and stop-out rules, risk controls, and reporting
Collaborate on the integration of internal and external systems, including bridges, aggregators, and BI services
Develop and manage use case scenarios, ensuring full test coverage for new functionalities
Support the product team with insights into business and technical challenges, while offering solutions that align with overall business strategy
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the trading industry
Experience in defining and documenting functional and non-functional requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex processes into clear steps
Experience with trading system features: order types, execution logic, margin calculations, risk management
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira tools
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have:
Understanding of retail trading platforms (MT4/MT5, cTrader, etc)
Knowledge of financial market regulations, including compliance with margin calls, stop-out rules, and security protocols
Experience with FIX protocol or other API-based integrations.
