The HR role will support the full scope of Human Resources functions and contribute to driving strategic initiatives within Cyprus. This role involves coordinating, planning, implementing, and evaluating HR policies, programs, and practices. A primary focus will be to deliver an employee experience that aligns with local business strategies while ensuring consistency with our global direction.

Your EDGE Assignment/You Will

  • Coordination with Corporate HR: Collaborate with the global HR team to localize HR initiatives, programs, and annual activities, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Employee Life Cycle Management: Oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, including hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, offboarding, payroll, and more. Support global Payroll and Talent Acquisition teams in promoting best practices, offering localized support as needed.
  • Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting surveys, and implementing engagement initiatives. Provide local and global management with legal advice and best practices. Resolve complex employee relations issues through effective conflict resolution strategies, both informally and formally.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management cycle, supporting line managers and leaders in its implementation. Assist with managing job performance issues and implementing Performance Improvement Plans where necessary.
  • Immigration: Manage employee immigration matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and that all Axi employees have and maintain the right to work in Cyprus.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure HR operations adhere to statutory requirements and company policies. Provide insightful HR metrics and reports to the management team to support informed business decisions.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee morale and skills. Offer guidance to managers on performance management and employee development.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture: Promote a positive organizational culture aligned with the company’s values and mission. Organize and oversee employee engagement activities and events, ensuring they reflect both global practices and local nuances. Assist with employee feedback surveys and develop action plans based on the results.
  • Employer Branding: Support and drive initiatives to position Axi as an employer of choice, enhancing the company’s visibility in the job market.
  • Office Management: Collaborate with the office General Manager on seating arrangements, office procedures, logistics, and general attendance. Develop and maintain an Office Manual.

Are you the one?

  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
  • Experience in a multinational or global organization, particularly in a role that involved coordinating within global HR teams.
  • Experience with HR in Cyprus or similar jurisdictions, with a strong understanding of local employment laws and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees and management.
  • Experience in fostering a positive organizational culture and managing employee engagement initiatives
