iLedgends is a leader in delivering cutting-edge financial solutions across various industries. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, developing financial strategies, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Leadership:
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
Lead the finance team in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
Assessment of organizational performance against both the prior year results, the rolling forecast, and the company’s medium/long-term strategy
Developed and managed operational budgets; negotiated contracts with banks, and vendors.
Financial Management:
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and tax.
Involvement in financial reporting of subsidiaries for creation of group level reporting
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Manage cash flow, investment activities, and capital structure to optimize the company’s financial performance.
Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization
Risk Management and Compliance:
Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and legal requirements specific to Cyprus and the European Union.
Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Involvement in consolidations and consolidation audits in relation to other companies belonging to the iLedgends group of companies.
Operational Efficiency:
Streamline financial operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement and monitor financial systems, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate financial performance and strategy to the Board of Directors, investors, and other stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Represent the company in financial discussions and negotiations with partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience as a CFO, preferably within payment industry.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial planning, and financial risk management.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Knowledge of Cypriot and EU financial regulations and tax laws.
Experience with IFRS standards, and experience with consolidation work on subsidiaries
Willingness to travel in Europe
