The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing the financial transactions of FMC (Europe) CY Ltd, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing vendor and customer payments. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and customer complaints.
Key Accountabilities:
Processes all the accounting transactions of the FMC, i.e. invoices, expenses, -, etc., updating accordingly all the respective accounting ledgers, in order to assist in the effective monitoring of each company financial operation and compliance with the accounting rules and legislation.
Accounts Receivable and Payable Management: Uploads receivable and payable accounts into the company software system, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
Vendor Invoice Review: Reviews vendor invoices, comparing them against quotations and incurred expenses to ensure accuracy before payment.
Customer Invoice Troubleshooting: Handles and resolves customer invoice complaints efficiently and professionally.
Statement of Accounts Preparation: Prepares and manages the Statement of Accounts, ensuring timely distribution and reconciliation.
Customer Invoice Preparation and Processing: Prepares accurate customer invoices, ensuring all details are properly documented and delivered.
Invoice Upload in software: Ensures invoices are uploaded into the software system in a timely and accurate manner.
Any other tasks / duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
University degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
Work Experience:
No experience is required.

Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relational databases and software (e.g., ERP).
