Head of Dealing

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Dealing to oversee our dealing operations and ensure the efficient and compliant execution of trades. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in dealing within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for dealing operations to align with the company's goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the execution of trades across various asset classes, ensuring optimal pricing and execution quality.
• Monitor market conditions and trading strategies to ensure efficient and compliant trade execution.
• Ensure all dealing activities comply with CySEC regulations and other relevant legal requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with trading activities, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
• Implement and oversee risk management strategies to protect the firm's interests.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholder and systems teams to enhance and optimize trading platforms and technology infrastructure.
• Ensure that dealing systems are functioning effectively and that any issues are promptly addressed.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on trading activities, performance, and market trends to senior management.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements and strategic adjustments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
• Proven experience in a dealing role within a regulated financial environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Strong understanding of CySEC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and technology systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
