As the global Invoicing Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the invoicing processes across all regions within the organization. This includes ensuring timely and accurate billing on a global scale, managing a diverse team of finance professionals, and maintaining compliance with international regulations. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing global invoicing operations and managing the collection process to support the company’s financial health and customer satisfaction worldwide.
What will your job look like?
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of finance operations specialists, providing guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
Process Oversight: Oversee the global invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate billing across all regions.
Quality Control: Lead KPI-managed deliveries of the invoicing team and ability to impact the overall Deal to Cash process.
Compliance: Ensure all invoicing activities comply with company policies and relevant international regulations.
Collection Process: Manage the collections process to ensure timely payment from clients, including following up on overdue accounts and implementing strategies to reduce outstanding receivables.
Customer Relations: Resolve any invoicing and collections issues or disputes raised by customers efficiently and professionally, regardless of location.
Reporting: Generate and analyze global invoicing and collections metrics and present findings to senior management.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy across all regions.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for team members to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices globally.
Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as finance, internal audit, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations worldwide.
All you need is...
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance operations, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably with international exposure.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff across different regions.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers globally.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Excellent user of Microsoft Office, any additional knowledge on BI tools will be considered a strong advantage.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
