QA Team Lead (Web)

As a Quality Assurance Team Lead, you'll hold a management position and will be responsible the development and implementation of QA strategies and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small dedicated team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of QA processes within project timelines
• Be an escalation point for all testing and quality assurance matters and operate as a primary point of contact for QA
• Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using TypeScript, Playwright, and Allure
• Create and update functional autotests for the Web application
• Use GitLab and Jira for efficient bug tracking, test management, and project documentation
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure the highest standards of quality for our Fintech web projects
• Conduct regular code reviews, performance testing, and security assessments to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Design, implement, and manage robust end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks to ensure complete system validation and seamless user experiences
• Stay updated with the latest QA trends and technologies, and implement best practices to enhance the overall quality of our products

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Previous experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role, preferably within the Fintech industry
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks, specifically TypeScript and Playwright. Experience with Allure for test reporting is a plus
• Ability to work with requirements and create test cases accordingly
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent command of the English language.
