As an Engineering Team Lead, you'll lead the development and launch of a new project, a customized in-house retail trading platform

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of developers, analytics, and QAs to achieve project goals
• Collaborate with the architect team to design platform architecture, select technologies, and ensure high performance, low latency and security
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and functionality
• Ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems
• Oversee code quality, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Support and evolve the platform post-launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a team/tech lead role
• Expertise in Java programming, including multithreading, data structures, and performance optimizations
• Proven experience in designing and developing low-latency, high-load distributed systems
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures for optimizing trading strategies.

Preferred:

• Experience with retail trading platforms, preferably MetaTrader 4/5 or similar
• Strong understanding of financial markets, brokerage operations, and trading
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with FIX protocol for trading system integration.
