Job Description
A leading Cypriot professional services provider firm in Nicosia offering international tax advisory and corporate services, are searching for a Accountant.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping and record transactions on the accounting system for both local and international clients.
- Preparation of various reconciliations and reports as requested.
- Preparation of VAT/VIES returns, registrations and de-registrations for clients.
- Preparation of payroll workings for clients and arrange to settle the income tax and social insurance liabilities.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Ensure completion of assignments within the appropriate timeframe.
- Liaising with managerial staff and clients.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting / ACCA partially qualified.
- LCCI Higher will also be considered, provided they have relevant experience dealing with the accounting/tax functions in Cyprus.
- Knowledge in VAT/VIES and tax related matters.
- Knowledge of CaseWare will be considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of Esoft will also be considered advantageous.
- Good knowledge of the English and Greek languages is essential.
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel, and MS Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Benefits
- Remuneration package: EUR 24,000 – 27,000 (depending on experience / qualifications)
