Job Description

This role is about:

A Strategic Partnership Manager who will establish and strengthen relationships with relevant partners with the goal of building a sophisticated local payments network that our clients can benefit from.

You will:

  • Initiate and develop commercial relationships with a variety of local partners in the markets of interest for payabl.
  • Build deep relationships with partners, pre-assess partners, negotiate commercial terms, identify additional opportunities and drive deals towards their closure.
  • Have e2e responsibility for any partner relationship and be the first point of contact for existing partnerships.
  • Understand what opportunities will bring the most effect and prioritize your scope accordingly.
  • Closely work with internal teams to support them in implementing new payment channels obtained through the partnerships.
  • Be able to present payabl. solutions to partner companies in case there is interest from their side in using our capabilities.
  • Attending events to get in contact with potential partners as well as promote payabl.'s solutions

What we need:

  • Extensive experience in managing partnerships and/or sales for financial organizations;
  • Successful track record of developing and growing partnerships.
  • Payments industry knowledge and an understanding of trends and the key players in the competitive landscape.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate high-value deals with a C-level audience and positively influence the outcome.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills and a proven track record of deals led towards closure.
  • High level of self-organization and discipline as well as efficiency in ambiguous situations.
  • Understanding of a product development framework and principles is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
