Alchemy Markets is looking for a Legal Assistant to join our international team of talented individuals.

The successful candidate will be a part of the team focusing on ensuring that our company adheres to legal standards and requirements.

In more detail, the Legal Assistant will be responsible to:

  1. Handle matters related with GDPR compliance (i.e., drafting of required policies and procedures for clients).
  2. Handle requests received from the Commissioner for the Protection of Personal Data.
  3. Draft or review reports or memos (annual or periodic), policies or other procedures of CySEC regulated firms.
  4. Offer expert advice to any types of queries received from CySEC regulated firms.
  5. Draft or review any agreements or any other legal documentation required for the operation of CySEC regulated firms.
  6. Provide legal consultation and/or drafting legal opinions regarding matters raised by CySEC regulated firms.
  7. Plan the internal audit mandates and performing audit visits and/or ad hoc reviews to CySEC regulated firms.
  8. Perform the reviews, assessments and testings required for the performance of the internal audits.


  1. Excellent knowledge with practicing law, with significant experience in compliance within the FinTech Industry.
  2. Excellent Knowledge of MiFID II, AML & GDPR legal and regulatory frameworks
  3. Lawyer qualification from the Cyprus Bar Association.
  4. Bachelor Degree in Law. A Master's Degree will be considered as an advantage.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  6. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements of the industry.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
