The role:

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Finance team in Limassol. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records and supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with other departments and key management.

?How you can make a difference:

  • Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts, including both corporate and client accounts, as well as PSP transactions with the trading system.
  • Post daily client transactions and the trading book in the accounting system.
  • Ensure the daily segregation of client funds.
  • Handle the posting of invoices in the accounting system.
  • Execute any other necessary daily reconciliations.
  • Process supplier payments, maintain the supplier ledger, and reconcile it with supplier statements.
  • Assist with month-end procedures to ensure the following:
  • Post of provisions for prepayments and accruals.
  • Generate of the trial balance (TB) and monthly management accounts, including relevant schedules for reference and breakdowns.
  • Contribution to commentary on the Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit and Loss statement (PnL).
  • Maintenance of the supplier ledger and timely processing of all payments.
  • Serve as the primary contact for departments regarding invoice payment queries.
  • Support the annual audit to ensure the financial statements are submitted within the deadline.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members to meet all relevant internal and external deadlines.

? Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
