Financial Controller

A leading Cypriot professional services provider firm in Nicosia offering international tax advisory and corporate services, are searching for a Financial Controller.

• Preparation of the Company’s accounting records.
• Preparation of management accounts and reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Handling of all tax and VAT statutory filings.
• Monitoring / improving internal controls and processes.
• Preparation and monitoring of annual budget and financial forecasts in a consolidated form.
• Maintain and monitor cash flow and cost management procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Payroll processing.
• Compliance with statutory submissions and returns.
• Liaising with third parties, external auditors, vendors, clients, bankers.
• Assisting Managing Director with ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• UK qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, AIA).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role;
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax and VAT;
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Computer literacy, particularly with Caseware, Microsoft Word, and Excel;
• Fluency in Greek & English;
• Excellent communication skills and to be able to be part of a team;
• Can work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

Benefits

• Remuneration package: EUR 35,000 – 40,000 (depending on experience / qualifications)
• Performance-based bonus
