Job Description

Our Firm is looking for immediate employment of a highly motivated Accounting Supervisor with an interest in developing into a department manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the team of the Accounting Department
  • Communicate, plan and manage the bookkeeping department’s clients
  • Verify and review accounting journals and ledgers
  • Carry out the bookkeeping of a portfolio of international and/or local clients
  • Review and finalise Trial Balances for audit
  • Preparation, review and submission of VAT, VIES and other tax declarations as required
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Be part of the management team, work closely with the managing director and other Departments

Profile and Qualifications:

  • College/University Degree or Certificate of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) – Level 3
  • Qualification or part-qualification ACCA/ACA will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in bookkeeping of international clients will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Experience in VAT/TAX-related matters
  • Fluent in Greek and English (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Highly committed individual with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow internal policies and procedures
  • Ability to multitask in a busy and demanding work environment
  • Ability to work and report under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines
