Location: Limassol, Cyprus
We are looking for an AML Officer in Cyprus to help the group manage the Anti-Money Laundering Program of the regulated entities in the group, in the gaming industry.
Responsibilities of the AML Compliance Officer:
- Determining the risk level of customers when opening a new customer account through the in-built ‘risk scoring matrix’
- Interacting with the Business Intelligence function for statistics and analytics, as key information to meet AML obligations on a continuous basis
- Drafting and escalating to the Group MLRO the Implementing of the company's anti-money laundering compliance policies
- Keeping up with the latest AML regulations and laws via tools provided by the company and FIAU’s webinars/Newsletter
- Taking protective measures against financial crimes to the company
- Detecting and receiving Internal disclosures and reporting suspicious transactions (in the absence of the Group MLRO)
- Informing and training colleagues against financial crimes, keeping training logs, reviewing tests
Skills/knowledge required for the position:
- Strong analytical thinking skills; attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Documenting and reporting skills; Being able to maintain meticulous records of compliance activities assigned on a case-by-case basis;
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of compliance in one of the three industries among iGaming/Forex and/or Payments;
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures, and other relevant regulatory standards;
- A high degree of professional ethics and integrity;
- Proficiency in Excel, Jira, Google tools, and other IT skills to help fulfill daily tasks
- Knowledge of Caspar/GoAML and MGA Portal is a big advantage
