Head of Corporate Finance

We are looking for a Head of Corporate Finance.

Fintech is on its way to dominate financial institutions, and you can help us to build one of the most exciting European fintech companies. As a member of a C-level suite, you can take the lead to drive company’s investor relationships, strategy development and management reporting. You will be able to translate our company strategy into financial models and forecasts, identify KPIs and targets for the company and divisions, and help the management board make informed decisions around where we deploy capital.

This is an ideal role for a finance professional who is highly numerate but also strategic; who understands leadership, exudes ownership, is biased for action, data driven and is able to work at pace, but in a calm, concerted manner.

As Head of Corporate Finance, you will:

• Take ownership of financial planning processes: Business Reviews, Goals, Forecasts, Long Range Plan;
• Act as a trusted business partner to the company, building relationships with key stakeholder to influence strategic decisions;
• Driving communication with shareholders and future investors;
• Manage and advise on special projects - may include new product or pricing launches, new market expansion, and areas of inorganic growth (e.g. M&A, fundraising, JVs, investments);
• Support the management board on Investor relations and fundraising;
• Conduct scenario analysis based on factors that would affect risk and recommend actions to mitigate the risks.

Your profile:

• 6+ years of experience in Corporate Finance or with a relevant investment banking, PE / VC or management consulting background;
• You have a track record of managing teams;
• Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation methods, and key metrics used in FinTech and payments businesses;
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and familiarity of working with Controllership teams;
• Highly numerate, with immaculate attention to detail;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; you have the ability to summarise complex financial ideas to both financial and non-financial audiences;
• You have a track record of working with cross-functional teams;
• You are very data-driven, and can back up their assertions with data;
• Strong leader with great skills in managing relevant stakeholders, internally and externally;
• Combined experience of investment house and in-house with start-up experience will be a plus.
