Job Description

HR Officer (Ref: HR/01/2021) 

The individual to be appointed will join our HR team and will be involved on the daily operations of the HR department.

The main responsibilities will be as follows: 

  • Regular review and enhancement of the HR manual and relevant policies and procedures in line with organizational developments and employment law updates.
  • Work closely with all the departments of the firm to support the effective implementation of HR systems, policies and procedures.
  • Being actively involved in the recruitment of new colleagues by preparing job descriptions, posting adverts, conducting interviews and assisting in the hiring process.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new colleagues.
  • Assist in the preparation of the firm’s annual training plan.
  • Coordinate the design development and delivery of internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain, monitor and update training records.
  • Assist in the coordination and administration of the annual performance review process.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and updated employee files, both hard copy and electronic.
  • Assist in the organisation of staff meetings and events.
  • Assist with a wide range of ad hoc projects and employee requests.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Psychology or a related field with a minimum grade of 2.1 or equivalent.
  • Masters degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of Cyprus employment law.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Very good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Working experience with an HRM software will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
