The Role

  • Analyzing functional requirements, designing, developing, and implementing software solutions.
  • Collaborating with developers, architects, and analysts to deliver high-quality systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with robust, sustainable solutions.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Conducting unit testing and supporting business/user acceptance testing.
  • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of internal systems.
  • Participating in team development meetings and contributing ideas.
  • Interpreting user needs and software requirements effectively.
  • Writing, maintaining, and improving code within the team codebase.
  • Creating technical documentation and providing training to internal users.
  • Supporting all aspects of software design and development.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degrees in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified) are considered an advantage.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in software development. Prior exposure to the banking, corporate, or payment processing industries will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong experience with .NET/C# and .NET Core (or similar technologies).
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following:
  1. API development.
  2. Microservices architecture
  3. Web development
  4. Relational databases (e.g., MSSQL)
  • Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in DevOps tools and practices is a plus.
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek Languages, both verbal and written.

Salary range: €2.5k–€3.5k gross × 13 salaries
