Payments and Fraud Officer

WISEBITS, an International Group of IT companies, is seeking to hire a Payments and Fraud Officer to join the Finance and Risk  Department of the group at its modern Limassol office. This is a great opportunity to join a large corporation and a dynamic, young team of professionals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor our automated fraud system and review suspicious users
• Verification of suspicious users
• Proactively review, monitor, and investigate fraud reports, alerts and logs to identity suspicious users and fraudulent transactions
• Chargeback handling, review and representation
• Investigate and suggest required actions to prevent fraudulent transactions
• Customer support for payments and fraud related issues
• Liaise with customers, vendors and other counterparties as necessary
• Liaise internally with other departments for finance and risk matters
• General assistance to the Finance and Risk Department
• Rotating 24/7 Shifts (occasional work at nights and weekends!)

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Accounting/Economics/Math or related field
• Work experience of at least 6 months in a similar role is preferred
• Critical Thinker with Fast Decision-Making ability is crucial
• Experience with payment processing and usage of different payment systems will be considered an advantage
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with technology and multiple software/platforms
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive work approach i.e. problem solving, finding better ways to complete tasks
• Able to work legally in Cyprus without the need to obtain a work permit
• Fluency in English is a must, additional languages are advantageous
