Job Description

Exness, a leading foreign exchange broker in the financial services field, is looking to hire.

Business Intelligence Analyst is a core role in the Business Analysis & Reporting Team, which is part of the Business Intelligence department.

The selected candidate will be reporting to the Business Analysis & Reporting Team Lead, and will be deeply engaged in the activities and projects of one of the cross-functional business domains within the Business Intelligence department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operational and product teams to define and describe the domain business model and business processes, and act as subject-matter expert within BI.
  • Engage with business users and heads to understand their needs in data and data insights.
  • Use data to gain new insights about the domain and explain behavior of key domain metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes in the domain.
  • Build and maintain corporate level measurements catalog and facilitate this activity on the operational/ departmental level.
  • Supervise development of analytical data warehouse in terms of business logic of the objects in collaborations with other BI teams and Exness Data team.
  • Facilitate DDDM (data-driven decision making) culture in the company by conducting training and workshops on corporate data and metrics,
  • Provide daily support to business users with issues/ questions related to BI data and metrics.
  • Task/ project coordination within the domain.

Requirements :

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong data visualisation skills.
  • Strong business requirements building and management skills.
  • Business architecture and process modelling experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience with analytical database design and data architecture.
  • Mathematical/ engineering education would be an advantage.
  • Strong customer management skills (understand the needs of stakeholders and manage their expectations),
  • Result-driven orientation (prioritizing, taking initiative, taking ownership),
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • At least upper-intermediate English knowledge. Knowledge of Russian would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
