POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technician, Property Services carries out any duty assigned by his/her supervisors. Performs repair and maintenance services to ensure the equipment, system and plants achieve its best condition. Maintains the functionality of all life safety equipment in place and ready to operate at all times.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Based on the established schedule, achieves high quality services, repairs and maintenances works efficiently
  • Maintains and operates assigned machines / equipment or 'Primary Plant', in order to provide continuous and consistent utilities required for operations
  • Handles the verification, storage and utilization of all tools/ materials / parts to maintain the equipment, system and plant as per the established policy and procedures
  • Immediately reports to superiors for difficulties encountered in completing jobs
  • Maintains and ensures all tools and equipment are in good order at all times
  • Projects good grooming standards when dealing with customers
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 3+ years working experience in commercial or industrial maintenance and / or construction

Education:  

  • Secondary school certificate
  • Professional certificate or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical and / or General Building Services is preferred
  • Candidates without any certificates, but with solid experience will also be considered

Skills/Competencies:  

  • Fair knowledge of Greek and English (verbal and written communication)
  • Fair basic computer knowledge
  • Good technical knowledge of various central plant, E&M systems and equipment
  • Perform other duties as and when required very last minute and at time of emergency
  • Independent and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Frequently/Occasional ascending or descending ladders and/or ramps and ability to work in high rise site
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
  • Ability to work on overtime when needed
  • Good health, physically fit and excellence in personal grooming and presentation

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on a shift-based schedule that will include weekends and public holidays
