Job Description


Job Summary & Purpose:

The Business Analyst would help the business implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project, writing up the IT spec and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.


  • Project requirements capture: work with business stakeholders/function project managers and IT developers to facilitate the definition of the project scope, milestones and goals. Ensure all requirements are clear and well understood.
  • Acceptance test - determine the acceptance criteria for a project.
  • UX requirements - work with parties/experts to plan for optimal user experience/work flow.
  • Project impact - investigate the impact of changes on the overall IT system and coordinate mitigation/acceptance with all affected parties.
  • Project preparation: ensure that realistic estimates are available for a project and that project risks are quantified. Collaborate with project sponsors to break the project into proper phases and clearly identify deliverables for each phase.
  • Project resources: define project tasks and resource requirements from various in-house teams
  • Project monitoring: anticipate events that may require a contingency plan, recommend corrective action, and ensure that stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Project modification: monitor new IT requirements and their relevance, inform parties of impact on delivery times.
  • Project delivery: work with testers and developers to ensure that the project satisfies its acceptance criteria.
  • Project sign-off: coordinate with all relevant parties to get sign-off and coordinate project launch.
  • Project launch: monitor launch of project and additional requirements requested after launch.

Qualifications/Other Requirements

  • University degree in related area
  • Programming skills would be an advantage
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work outside of normal business hours – coinciding with systems releases or urgent bug fixes
  • Comply with terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals and Global Policies
  • Travel to other Albourne offices and company offsite (US/EMEA/Asia)
