Job Description

Exness Retail being a crucial and most sensitive part of Exness Group is looking for a person who will form a technological function and will activate its performance within a limited amount of time.

We need a person to identify and manage all technological processes and make relevant decisions based on operational excellence and the quality of customer experience. A person who will naturally feel deep ownership and care over his/her domains, technologies, and people involved. A qualified candidate for this position has lived and breathed with software engineering for the last 7+ years. A professional who used their experience, knowledge, and passion for inspiring teams and innovating. A person recognizing that software development is both a science and an art, and is a distinct professional discipline that requires continuous learning and training.

The main challenge for this position is the variety of technological stacks - one will need to harmonize them, optimize, and lead further. Resources under management will vary in expertise and nature of work and thus the personal leadership skills will be vital.

The second main challenge is the necessity to manage distributed teams. You will be located in Cyprus (extensive Asian business trips will be required), but work with new and existing specialists from the Cyprus and Malaysian offices, with remote employees, and with outsourcers and out-staffers globally. At the same time, he or she must keep in mind the company’s values and prevent discrimination.

Main requirements:

  • Solid software development experience (5+ years on Engineering position);
  • Solid management experience (3+ years as People manager);
  • Excellent written and verbal English;
  • Positive attitude to new challenges; the desire to change the processes and environment, not to adapt to them.
