Job Description

Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited, one of the leading Financial Institutions in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an experienced Systems Administrator in the Infrastructure Team of the Technology Division.

Main Responsibilities

• Configure, customize and manage Infrastructure Systems in the following areas:

   o Windows, Linux Servers

   o Centralized Storage Area Network

   o Centralized Back-up

   o Synergy Blade Servers

   o IBM Power machines

   o HPE NonStop Systems

• Provide support to other IT Teams for investigating and troubleshooting applications

• Prepare the Infrastructure for application environments based on design requirements

• Analyze, design and implement infrastructure systems based on business needs

• Hands on configuration of all departmental system environment

• Monitor and assess new technology trends and prepare recommendations for the Bank’s Infrastructure

• Prepare and maintain technical manuals related to the operation and business continuation of Infrastructure Systems

• Provide technical advice and support to other IT technical staff, as well as to end-user support

 

Candidate Profile

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or in a related field

• Holder of a professional certifications related to main frame, administration, backup, storage will be considered an advantage

• At least 5 years of professional work experience in a related position, preferably in Financial Services sector

• Working experience in the following areas will be considered an advantage:

   o Storage Area Network

   o Linux administration

   o Blade Servers

   o HPE 3PAR SAN

   o Entreprise Backup solutions

   o Synergy Administration

   o IBM Power Machines

   o HPE NonStop Machines

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver projects within tight deadlines

• Ability to promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables

• Accountable, flexible and adaptable to business needs and work responsibilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage with people at all levels

• Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written
