Our Client Onboarding Officer is responsible for providing exceptional client onboarding experience by reviewing, verifying and approving new Pepperstone accounts. Working in a brand-new team, you will make a tangible impact with our global clients every day by ensuring the accurate creation of client accounts.

To thrive in this role, you'll be curious, enjoy working in a customer-facing role and working with customers to improve, support and hasten their application, while balancing compliance and regulatory requirements.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Offering an excellent customer experience by providing a seamless account opening process
  • Verifying IDs and completing extended ID checks for some countries
  • Communicating effectively with clients to hasten and complete the verification process and open new accounts
  • Identifying areas for improvements and opportunities to streamline processes so that efficiencies in verification and account opening processes can be gained
  • Identify areas of potential risks (AML / Fraudulent ID)
  • Working closely with other departments to provide accurate information with regards to the status of new accounts (particularly sales and customer experience) and developing a working knowledge of the Customer Experience function in the process

Our ideal new team member possesses:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, ideally in a bilingual environment
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality even in busy times
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
  • Ability to use good judgement, act and make decisions with integrity
  • Desire and passion for continuous learning, improvement, and innovation
  • Basic understanding of and interest in trading, financial markets (desirable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce or similar (desirable)

You'll need to be fluent in English as well as either Spanish or Portuguese. To really impress us you'll have fluency in all three of these languages.
