IT Support Officer
MUFG Investor Services FinTech is looking for an IT Support Officer to join our team in Limassol. This role will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of local, cloud-based and Internet accessible systems and services that support the core business functions of this global group. This is a role within this group and will be expanding and refining the responsibilities over time.
Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption standards.
Contribute to the design and implementations of the security setup of the cloud infrastructure.
Comply with and support ISO 27001 requirements.
End User Support
Act as a first point of IT contact for the team members and the business.
Provide technical assistance and support in a timely manner to all IT requests and issues.
Ensure that all Laptop Operating Systems are fully updated/patched and secured in Windows, Mac and Linux OS.
To maintain accurate documentation of backups, maintenance tasks and procedures carried out on the Company’s IT systems.
Responsible for the administration of enterprise solutions such as G suite, Zendesk and Jira
Install and configure computer hardware, software, printers.
Assist in the implementation of new systems and applications.
Troubleshoot any issues encountered in the use of:
Local office wired and wireless network connectivity.
Office Video Conferencing facilities
Access Control, CCTV, Security and Fire Alarm systems.
Responsible for the procurement of supplies and maintenance of inventory of all equipment and software licenses.
Coordination and monitoring of the proper and timely disbursement of any payments required for the proper operation, maintenance and storage of the above resources (e.g. license fees, storage rental).
Office Facilities maintenance
Appropriately deal with periodic and unplanned building power maintenance which may be carried out.
Responsible for the secure and controlled visitors’ access to the offices.
Maintain all server cabling to an adequate standard and ensure that any vital Internet connections or telephone lines are not put at risk.
Routine maintenance, update and installation.
Creates, modifies and maintains users as needed.
At least 2 years of demonstrated work experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s or equivalent Degree in Engineering, Science or IT related field.
Maintains a high level of current knowledge regarding systems, technology and communications.
Strong grasp of backup and restore system.
Knowledge and experience with MS Technologies, Office 365 and Gmail Business.
Highly ethical, trustworthy, reliable, discreet individual, who is willing to work in a challenging work environment.
Ability to work proactively on own initiative with minimal supervision.
