Human Resources Officer

On behalf of our client, EY People Advisory Services (PAS) is currently seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer in Nicosia.

The ideal candidate should be able to organize, administer and coordinate the HR initiatives and systems of the company and provide support to the management regarding all HR related matters. To be successful in this role, he/she should be able to able to learn and contribute with minimal oversight-a self-starter


  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for employees
  • Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Helps improve work relationships and build a highly engaged workplace.
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Develops and maintains employee records.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all personnel
  • Conducts new-employee orientations
  • Handles employee relations, counseling and exit interviewing.
  • Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains compliance with local employment and benefits laws and regulations.


  • Comes with 3+ years of experience in HR operations & office administration
  • Experience of working into various HR functions
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office. Experience in HRIS database will be an added advantage.
