The Cyprus Institute invites applications for a highly qualified and motivated Researcher to join the Institute’s CARE-C Centre of Excellence, Environmental Observation Department (EOD) on a full-time basis (100% FTE) for its premises at Athalassa’s Campus. The successful candidate will be working under the Horizon ERC-StG project: “The role of base molecules in aerosol formation, BAE” and will have the responsibility to gain and share expertise in both experimental and data analysis of mass spectrometric research. The successful candidate is expected to be a hands-on person to start developing methods to qualify and quantify sub-pptV levels of base molecules, relevant to new particle formation. The Cyprus Institute invites applications for a highly qualified and motivated individual to join the Institute’s CaSToRC Centre on a full-time basis (100% FTE) for its premises at Athalassa’s Campus. The successful candidate will conduct research in the application of existing and novel Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning methods in cancer research. More specifically, the successful candidate will contribute to research and development activities of the Agora 3.0 critical infrastructure project, in collaboration with the German Medical Institute (GMI) and several other research and industry partners in Cyprus. The project aims to establish a clinical trial unit at the GMI, which will produce high quality medical imaging data from prostate cancer patients.
