United World Colleges

United World Colleges International (UWC) makes education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. To fulfil its mission, UWC has 18 schools and colleges worldwide, alongside 156 mostly volunteer-run national committees which select UWC students. UWC each year also organises short courses around the world. UWC International has two central offices based in London and Berlin, which are situated at the heart of the UWC movement. It collaborates closely with all stakeholders from across the UWC movement, engages the UWC alumni community of more than 60,000 members and serves UWC International’s governance bodies.

UWC Cyprus is the UWC Committee in Cyprus, committed to supporting and fostering the UWC movement on the island. We manage key UWC operations, such as the selection process for full-time and short course programmes, alumni engagement, local community initiatives, and other outreach activities. We are a diverse group of individuals from all perspectives, genders, age groups, including  UWC alumni, who believe in education as a force to unite people and nations..
