Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages Vessel Control Accounts and Principal’s/Client’s Accounts.
Collects, reviews and verifies invoices from Suppliers, Subcontractors and Authorities.
Processes the entries in the accounting system for income and expenses per Vessel port call, such as marine and port charges, vessel supplies, crew changes, crew accommodation.
Prepares and issues the Vessel Invoices / Disbursement Accounts to Principals/Clients.
Follows up on collecting the funds from the Principals/Clients and on any clarifications where required by the Principals/Clients.
Maintains an updated electronic filing system according to the Company’s policy.
Undertakes other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor / Management.
Qualifications:
· Degree or Diploma in Accounting (or Shipping).
